About Anne Skidmore:
Originally, my passion for photography began at a very young age. Once I experienced the darkroom back when I was a wee teenager I was hooked. I graduated from The University of New Hampshire with a degree in the arts; my focus in photography. I continued to study at New England School of Photography and Mass Art, both located in Boston, Massachusetts. With a strong devotion to the outdoors I headed up to North Conway, NH to start my career as a professional photographer. I pursued the commercial industry, mainly photographing for magazines, companies, and local freelance work. I soon began to realize I loved working with people and I was drawn to photographing weddings and portraits. I also loved the idea of giving a creative touch to people on such a special day. There are a lot of aspects that I really love about wedding photography, below are the top three.
One: Providing creative images in a photo journalist manner yet capturing the classic shots that are timeless.
Two: Providing professionally amazing images in any given location, lighting, and timeline.
Three: Being a part of such a happy and special day. There has been a wedding or two where I have shed a few tears!
