Stone Mountain Arts Center Wedding: Dan & Christine

Oh this was a very special wedding at a very special place! Dan and Christine wed on October 4th at the Stone Mountain Arts Center, during the heart of the fall foliage season. All the trees were exploding with color you could just feel it, and the love these two have for each other paralleled that energy perfectly! There was a slight rainy mist that day, but Christine and Dan didn’t let this phase them one bit, in fact we were calling it a “dry rain” as you could barely tell it was there. The guys and gals got ready in separate areas, and when the time arrived Dan and Christine had a beautiful and touching first look moment right outside the front doors of the Quisana Barn at Stone Mountain Arts Center. Before they saw each other, they held hands on opposite sides of the front door, just to have a moment together. Then they turned and saw each other, and there wasn’t a dry eye between the two of them! Then Christine had a special moment with her father seeing her for the first time as a bride. When Dan and Christine were ready, we changed locations and went down the road for a few portraits at an old New England home, a scenic vista, and a special spot up the road where there is a beautiful old antique wagon. The “dry rain” tried to damper things, but we just took out umbrellas, and everyone worked with it during the portraits! So fun! After we were done with formal photos it was time for these two to be officially married! They had sweet ceremony with cherished readings, and the lovely Hannah was their JP and she was also their wedding coordinator at Stone Mountain Arts Center! They sealed it with a kiss and right after the ceremony the newlyweds wanted to snag a few more portraits before heading back to the festivities. I’m so glad we did as they were just “glowing” after becoming husband and wife! Then it was time for them to be introduced, have their first dance, eat amazing food, toasts be made, and then more awesome dancing into the evening! What a day! Thank you Christine and Dan, we loved capturing your wedding day and congrats again!
