Stone Mountain Arts Center Wedding: Caitlin and Ryan

Caitlin and Ryan were married on, yet again, another beautiful fall day this past September at the Stone Mountain Arts Center in Brownfield, Maine. This venue continues to be one of my favorite venues to photograph. Guests absolutely love the barns and being free to walk the grounds. The drive up to SMAC is quite beautiful as well, overlooking the rolling fields of Brownfield towards the White Mountains of Maine and New Hampshire. After finishing her hair and make-up at Debony Salon in Jackson, I met Caitlin and the girls at The Snowvillage Inn in Eaton, New Hampshire. They all enjoyed some girl time as Caitlin got ready. It was so nice to capture Caitlin in her gown before we drove over to SMAC to meet Ryan for the first look. What a stunning bride! Ryan waiting in front of the white porch for Caitlin to arrive. This is one of my favorite parts of the day (and I think theirs too!). We took portraits all over the SMAC property and the long dirt road abutting. We were able to utilize the beautiful Blake Farm down the road for portraits with the bridal party. Guests started to arrive at the ceremony site back at SMAC. To share the ceremony stage with so many talented artists at SMAC has to be one of the most special parts of getting married there. So many defining moments happen on that stage. It’s very powerful. Cocktail hour was followed by dinner and we stepped outside to take some portraits with the last bit of remaining daylight. The moon was full and dancing sure took off in full swing with the bridal party kicking it off. This wedding was full of immaculate taste and decor. From the beautiful flowers designed by Jackie from Moonset Farms to Ryan’s fine wool suit to Caitlin’s stunning dress, I enjoyed photographing everything!
