Lake Winnipesaukee Wedding: Monika & Lee
On a very cold Valentine’s day, Monika and Lee hoped for snow to fall on their wedding in New Hampshire. In the previous month, New England had seen very little snow and the ground had yet to be blanketed in it. Blizzard warnings were in place for February 14th and we expected a day of heavy snow. Fortunately, the blizzard turned into a light snowfall throughout the day, enabling guests to still arrive safely. Monika and Lee dressed for the day at their home in Tuftonboro but were able to stay hidden from one another until the first look. Lee was so full of emotion seeing Monika in her hand-made wedding dress for the first time. The two of them were beyond comfortable with one another during the portraits- laughing, joking, smiling and enjoying each others company. A quick ceremony on the porch at the Geneva Point Center was followed by a wonderful dinner and hours and hours of dancing. So many laughs and so much emotion was displayed by everyone. It is apparent you two are adored by your friends and family. Thank you for having us photograph your special wedding day. Scott and I thoroughly enjoyed capturing all of it.
