Anna & Tim both knew what they wanted for their wedding day. They wanted to be at their new home, with games, friends, family, kids, amazing food, and a live band! Oh, AND they wanted to canoe to their wedding ceremony on the pond at their property, and they did all of that. July 13th, 2013 was a very pleasant summers day with overcast skies, but they held out on delivering rain. Phew! Anna and Tim had a beautiful first look moment in some fields just down the road. They saw each other for the first time in front of this classic old oak tree. We also wandered down to a beautiful dirt road where tall pines lined both sides of the road. After their portraits, I dropped Anna & Tim at their neighbor’s house, where they loaded up into their canoe. They entered the ceremony via canoe, with all their friends and families watching their amazing arrival. They said their wedding vows right on the lawn of their new home, and we took a group photo of everyone right after they sealed their vows with a kiss. To make thing even more convenient, their new home came with a tennis court, which was the perfect spot for the tent, dancing, games, and for the kids to run around! They evening was filled with toasts, yummy food, and we were able to sneak out at dusk to a reservoir just down the road for a few last portraits.
Congrats Anna & Tim! I loved capturing your very personal and special wedding day!
