Katherine & Ross’s wedding was quite special for many reasons other than it being their wedding day. They tied the knot on September 28th, 2012 at Katherine’s family home in Newbury, Massachusetts. This is the home she grew up in as a little girl, and now it is also where she got married. All of her bridesmaids were there to help keep the bride happy on what turned out to be quite a soggy day. But naturally Katherine didn’t think twice about the raindrops. One hundred and twenty of their closest friends and family gathered around them under an intimate round sailcloth tent on her family’s property. After their “I do’s” we raced to a beach house down on Plum Island for the bridal party and were able to do some bridal party and portraits there. The rain even let up for a bit! Amazing! Soon we were off to the Spencer Peirce Little Farm where the reception was being held. The evening was filled with toasts, love, and dancing. I always tell my brides that “weather” can help create stunning, different and unique images. We took some shots out in the pouring rain right at the end of the evening that I think Katherine & Ross for many years to come. Congrats again you two! You were simply amazing on your wedding day, and I look forward to staying in touch! xo!
