Plain and simple, this wedding at The Equinox Resort was a very special one. Where to begin? We’ll start here.
Greg & Justine found me through Greg’s Aunt Joanne, who is friends with my folks. Their Aunt mentioned her nephew was getting married in Vermont, and my pops piped up and said, “they should look at my daughters work, she is a wedding photographer close by in New Hampshire!” And so, with a few e-mails and a couple of phone calls, we could tell that our personalities clicked perfectly and lucky for us, Justine and Greg also connected with our work! We were soon set to shoot their wedding at the beautiful Equinox Resort in Manchester, Vermont.
Manchester is in the heart of The Green Mountains of Vermont, and The Equinox Resort hotel itself is absolutely stunning with it’s stark white columns contrasting the green mountains and blue skies. To start their day of right, Justine and her girls had a special yoga session at the resort while Greg and the guys played some golf. Greg and his guys got ready all together at the Equinox while Justine and her ladies got all dolled up at the quaint Charles Orvis Inn of The Equinox Resort. Justine and her ladies wore adorable matching robes as they had their hair and makeup done with some sips of champagne. Greg and his men suited up in their classic black and white tuxedos and were soon off to the church. Justine wore an incredible Lela Rose wedding dress that was complimented perfectly with a pair of incredibly jeweled Badgley Mischka shoes and a stunning bouquet created by Flowers By Cara! We did some fun portraits of Justine and her girls at the inn, and it was an easy walk across the street to get to her “I Do’s” at the First Congregational Church. They had a lovely ceremony in the classic white steepled church, sealed it with a kiss, and exited with all their friends and family waving batons of ribbon in the air! An antique Jaguar awaited these newly weds when they exited the church, so they hopped in and zoomed away! We took stunning portraits with the antique car and also on the grounds of The Equinox Resort, but we also wanted to be sure to get some up at the Pond Pavilion, where their reception was being hosted. What an absolutely incredible spot! Located at the base of Mt. Equinox, this pond-side Pavilion has beautiful wooden details and awe inspiring views of the mountains. It was the perfect evening for a wedding with cocktails outside and dinner inside the beautifully Pavilion decorated with blush pink florals and gold accents. The night was filled with laughter, heartfelt toasts, lovely first dances, special group photos and then some darn right fun foot stompin’ dancing! We were even able to sneak in a few portraits right at the tail end of dusk! Thank you SO much Justine and Greg, it was a a dream to work with you two and absolute honor to document such a beautiful wedding day for such an absolutely wonderful couple! This is one we will cherish forever!
