The Alerin Barn is such a fun venue for a wedding! Linda and Luke flew all the way from Hawaii to host their ceremony and celebration in New England among their family and friends. It was so neat to see so many people from all over the country. At the Alerin Barn, guests have full range of the property and are able to walk all over, visiting the sheep, gardens and the different structures. People feel so at ease at this venue. Linda got ready in the main house with her girlfriends. A good friend from Hawaii flew over and did her make-up! Linda and Luke opted for a first look moment before the ceremony. We were lucky that the last of the passing rain showers blew on through right before they were due to meet. Luke waiting near the fields where the sheep were grazing. Linda grabbed her beautiful bouquet and walked over to meet Luke. We utilized the grounds at the Alerin Barn and walked all over for their portraits. Their ceremony was short and sweet and was held up on the hill on the property. Guests all lingered back down by the barn for a short cocktail hour. The barn welcomed everyone as they made their way inside for dinner and dancing. We stepped outside for some sunset portraits before the last of the daylight faded away. As I was due to leave, it was fun to capture the sky as it lit up with some heat lightning off in the distance. Linda and Luke, you two were so wonderful to photograph. It was an absolute pleasure to be there and to meet you both. All the best in the world!
