Meg and Helon chose the perfect place to host a wedding weekend getaway on June 7th, 2014. The Notch House is set directly at the south end of Lake Willoughby in Westmore, Vermont. With the entire house rented for the weekend and a private path down to the beach at the lake, most of Meg and Helon’s guests spent the entire weekend camping, hiking and climbing (as well as attending the wedding Saturday afternoon!). The wedding day continued with that relaxed theme as guests arrived early before the ceremony and lingered on the lawn enjoying a cocktail or playing lawn games. Meg and Helon opted to not see each other before the ceremony and got ready on different sides of the property. It was so nice to see guests wander freely throughout the property and enjoy the afternoon on this unusually hot early summer’s day. The ceremony was held on the front lawn and we were even able to capture a fun group shot after the ceremony! Portraits were taken by the front porch of The Notch House and, at dusk, in the water at Lake Willoughby. What a unique spot to have a wedding! Congratulations Meg and Helon!
