Maureen and I had been in touch the week before her wedding day discussing how to creatively capture portraits in the rain. Saturday, May 17th was forecast to downpour with 100% chance of rain. The morning of her wedding day, the weather system moved out faster than predicted. The day was one of the most beautiful days we’d had in the Mount Washington Valley all spring. Scott and Maureen opted to have a first look moment before the ceremony on the front porch of the Log Cabin at the Christmas Farm Inn. Scott had been planning a surprise for Maureen all day and she was able to see what that was when she stepped out onto the porch. He surprised her by moving the ceremony location outside on the front lawn under the beautiful sunny skies. Maureen was so happy (we were all keeping this a secret from her!) and everyone could see how much this meant to her. What a wonderful couple Maureen and Scott are. We were able to capture portraits in the sunshine and even the catch the sunset like she had asked for. The day was beautiful in every way. Congratulations Scott and Maureen! I hope your wedding day was everything you wanted it to be!
