Kevin & Melissa: Elegant Wolfeboro Inn Wedding

How charming is the Wolfeboro area? Yes, so cute and so much character! I was very excited to capture Kevin and Melissa’s wedding day at the Wolfeboro Inn on August 10th, 2013. I arrived as Melissa stepped out on her porch and greeted me with a big wave! They both got dolled up at the inn, each with their bridesmaids and groomsmen. At Melissa’s request, we did a quick photo with her and Kevin on seperate porches, and made sure Kevin didn’t peek at Melissa. The groomsmen rode Molly The Trolley to St. Katharine Drexel Church with friends and family shortly arriving after them. They had a lovely traditional church wedding and eagerly hopped back on the Wolfeboro Trolley and headed to the Wolfeboro Inn. Melissa and Kevin started their portrait session at the inn but then opted for some unique spots in Wolfeboro to mix it up. It is great to take some classic shots where your wedding is being held, but it is also inspiring to mix it up and shoot a few off site! Kevin and Melissa were such a fabulous, fun, and gorgeous couple to work with but, what stood them apart, is their great sense of humor! This was apparent with the beer koozies they had for their guests and the character in which they danced into the tent when they were formally announced. Then their first dance was a fast tempo-ed fun one, 500 Miles! I love that song, and they had so much fun during their first dance as husband and wife! Wonderful toasts were given by Melissa’s father, maid of honor, best man, and a blessing by Kevin’s father. We snuck out for some dusk photos with the “Winnipisaukee Belle” in the background. Oh la la! The evening was filled with high energy dancing under beautiful clear evening skies. Congrats you two! What a day!
