Flag Hill Winery Wedding: Michael & Asya

Mike and Asya wed on late June day that not only included Flag Hill Winery, but also The Hotel Portsmouth and also Great Island Common. Let’s take it from the top! First, we met Asya & Mike last year for their incredible engagement session by Crystal Lake and on top of Foss Mountain in New Hampshire. It was then that we realized these two love to have fun, and love to do it together! Thus, on their wedding day it all started at The Hotel Portsmouth where they were getting ready. This old inn has been restored beautifully with a modern Victorian flair, and was a lovely place for them to have their first look moment. After they saw each other for the first time, a trolley soon pulled up to help them and their bridal party to their next destination, Great Common Island! Now, these two chose to wed at Flag Hill Winery, but they also LOVE the seacoast, and since we were so close, we had to make a stop. The trolley let everyone out at Great Common Island where we took a few portraits by the coast line. The cloud filtered light was just perfect for the photos while we were there. Before we knew it, we were back on the trolley and on our way to Flag Hill Winery. We did a few more portraits right when we arrived, and then soon it was time for the ceremony. Their ceremony was incredibly delightful with three readings, their wedding officiant being a friend, and the rings being delivered on a carabiner! Mike being a climber, that was the perfect way for them to be transported. After they said their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed it with a kiss it was time to celebrate. We did a few more portraits after the ceremony and then Mike & Asya were ready to be with all their friends and family. There were lovely toasts, a sweet (no pun intended!) cake cutting, and it was a big deal for Asya to be able to do all her dances, as she had knee surgery not too long ago! She did them all without one hiccup, and she was all smiles. We even squeezed in a dusk photo and a couple of portraits of the newlyweds in the actual winery itself too. What a day! The icing on the cake was that we had the lovely Lindsay Flanagan photographing with us that day. Thank you Mike & Asya. We absolutely LOVED capturing your epic wedding day, may the fun adventures never end for you two!
