Hardy Farm Wedding: Kendra and Jonathan

Kendra and Jonathan were married on August 22nd, 2015 at one of our favorite venues, The Hardy Farm, in Fryeburg, Maine. The barn is tucked into the woods of Maine with all the charm and character you would have found back in the day. The white barn has been cleared out and refurbished into such an intimate space, leaving all the old wood beams exposed and showing the history it has been through. Mix that with Kendra’s impeccable taste for details and you have an absolutely stunning wedding. From the invitations, to her shoes, to the table decor, to the flowers- everything complimented each other perfectly. Kendra and Jonathan left extra time in their day for portraits during the last bit of sunlight in the day. With this light, Brian and I were able to capture this golden glow that surrounded Kendra and Jonathan. Their bridal party was a blast and I’m so glad we were able to spend an adequate amount of time getting to know them all. The ceremony location in Naples, Maine was so unique to the day. Left solely as a historic site, Kendra and Jonathan stumbled upon the Union Church and fell in love with its simplicity. Looking back on the day, a highlight for me was to watch Kendra and Jonathan really enjoy themselves in the fields. They were laughing constantly and I think they were really able to take in the beautiful mountains of New England. What a gift it is to incorporate beautiful weddings with the natural mountain setting in Maine. Thank you two for hosting such a special day and asking me to photograph it. I was beyond inspired to be there!
