Michael and Kimberly began dating in high school (yes, high school sweethearts) and have a long history of skiing in the White Mountains. Specifically, Bretton Woods was their skiing spot of choice and how perfect it is that they chose to wed at The Omni Mount Washington Hotel & Resort, in the heart of it all! It is so classic and so breathtaking there! You have the mountains, the sky, and the magnificent hotel. To top it off these two had an absolutely amazing August day for their wedding. Kimberly and her girls got all dolled up in the bridal suite at the Mount Washington Hotel and Michael and the guys were at the condos by Bretton Woods- a sure way to know that they would not see each other before their ceremony! Both groups had so much fun with their bridal parties with toasts and helping Mike and Kimberly get ready for their big day. Some portraits were taken before their ceremony and soon it was time for their “I Do’s”. St Patick’s Church just down the road was filled with their friends and family, and there was barely a dry eye in that church. They sealed their vows with a sweet kiss and were beaming with happiness down the aisle! We had endless beautiful backdrops for their portraits, bridal party portraits and family portraits. Looking back through these and editing them I was just blown away by how striking so many of the photos were, and to make my job even easier that day, this couple was absolutely adorable, and SO kind. The evening was filled with so much love, laughter, energy, and the most unbelievable psyche on the dance floor. A big reason for that was the band that totally rocked it called The Common Good Band. At dusk we were able to squeeze in a few last portraits with the glowing night sky and grand hotel. Thank you so much Michael & Kimberly, it was a complete joy to capture your beautiful day and work with such kind and wonderful people! And a special thank you to Joe Ciarcia for his talent and second shooting with me that day!
